STORAGE

How does this service work?

Visit our website at www.VTCampus.com or call us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE and sign up for the storage program that works for you. Once you have placed your order, your free storage kit will arrive at your campus address one week prior to storage pick up. Carefully pack up all of your belongings and meet our truck during one of the pre-determined times and locations on campus. That’s it. All of your items will be securely stored until you return in the fall.

Will you help me move my boxes from my room to your truck?

For an additional $50 fee, you can sign up for the “In Room Pick-Up” and we will come to your room and bring your items to our truck. **At participating residence halls. See listing for your school at www.vtcampus.com

Where are the items stored?

All items are stored in a climate-controlled facility. The facility keeps the environment at a safe temperature and it is properly ventilated for your belongings.

What will you store?

We will store nearly all types of furniture, including such items as filing cabinets, bikes, futons, desks, shelves, refrigerators and more. Due to the fragile nature of these items, we will not store mirrors, glass, lamps or pictures that are not properly boxed. No liquids please.

What happens if I can’t make the scheduled pick up or delivery time?

At VTC we make every attempt to accommodate our customers. If you can’t meet us at the designated time, we will be glad to meet a friend or roommate that you have authorized to receive your items. Just call us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE to make arrangements.

How much does storage cost?

VTC requires a $45.00 deposit to reserve your space. Then individual prices apply for each item you store for the summer. See our storage estimator for a detailed list of prices and to approximate your total cost. The $45 deposit will be applied towards your final bill and includes our free storage kit. Feel free to call our customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE with any additional questions you may have.

What is included in the VTC Storage Kit?

The storage kit includes 2 small (12”x12”x16”), 2 medium (16”x16”x18”), 2 large (18”x18”x24”) boxes and packing tape.

How many boxes will I need?

VTC feels that our storage kit is ample for each student, however if you feel you need extra boxes, additional storage kits are available on our website for an additional charge.

How does the “Ship Home” work?

Simply bring your boxes down to our truck during one of the scheduled times, complete the necessary paperwork and we will ship your belongings home via UPS, FedEx or DHL. The usual shipping fees apply in addition to a handling fee for each box.

How much does shipping home cost?

VTC requires a $45.00 deposit to set up the account and includes our free storage kit. The storage kit contains 2 small, 2 medium and 2 large boxes. The usual UPS, FedEx or DHL shipping charges will apply in addition to a $25 handling fee per box.

Where will you ship items?

VTC will ship boxes anywhere throughout the continental United States. To make arrangements for shipping to locations outside the continental United States, please contact customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE.

What can I ship home?

Because we use UPS, FedEx or DHL, all items will have to be packed in a box. It is your responsibility to ensure that all of your belongings are packed securely. No liquids please. We strongly recommend additional UPS, FedEx or DHL insurance when completing your paperwork.

Are my items insured?

Each order is automatically insured for $100.00. We strongly recommend that you purchase additional insurance for each order in cases where the replacement value of your items exceeds $100.00.

How much is additional insurance?

Additional insurance may be purchased for $2.00 per every $100.00 of additional coverage needed for your belongings. Maximum coverage up to $1500.00 allowed.

What types of payment do you accept?

VTC accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

How will I receive my final bill?

Once your items have been picked up, VTC will itemize you’re your final cost and charge the credit card on file. Remember that your $45 deposit will be credited towards the final bill.

Can I cancel my order at any time?

Your order can be cancelled anytime prior to the first scheduled pick up day at your campus. However, if you cancel after your storage kit has been shipped, the storage kit will be yours to keep but you will not receive a refund for your deposit. Storage kits are typically shipped 2 weeks prior to the scheduled pick up.

 

WATER

How do I start the service?

You can either go on our website, www.vtcampus.com or call us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE and we will be happy to set up your account.

How much water comes in an order?

You will receive 8 cases of water per semester. One case of water will be delivered every other week according to the schedule posted online.
Each case contains 24 - ½ liters bottles.

What happens if I do not receive my water?

If you do not receive a delivery, please contact customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE as soon as possible to ensure timely resolution.

Do I have to be in my room to receive my water?

No. Depending on the service arrangements at your school, water will either be left at or inside your door.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. If you cancel your order prior to the start of classes, a full refund will be given. If you cancel within the first 4 weeks of school, your refund will be prorated for the deliveries already made and a $35 cancellation fee will apply. After 4 weeks of school, cancellation is permitted, but no refund will be given.

 

BATHROOM CLEANING

How do I start the service?

You can either go on our website, www.vtcampus.com or call us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE  and we will be happy to set up your account.

How does the bathroom cleaning work?

You will receive 8 cleanings per semester. Once every other week, according to the schedule posted online.

What happens if my room does not get cleaned?

If you do not receive a cleaning, please contact customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE as soon as possible. We will confirm your room information and make arrangements to have your cleaning completed at the earliest possible time available.

Can I refuse service if I don’t want it that week?

You are permitted to refuse service at any time. However, be aware that refusal of service will result in a loss of service for that week. That week’s cleaning will not be refunded or made up at another time.

What happens if I purchase this and my roommate doesn’t?

By purchasing this service you are guaranteeing that your son or daughter will have a clean bathroom during their dorm experience.

Can I cancel this service?

Yes. If you cancel your order prior to the start of classes, a full refund will be given. If you cancel within the first 4 weeks of school, your refund will be prorated for the cleanings you may have already received and a $35 cancellation fee will apply. After 4 weeks of school, cancellation is permitted, but no refund will be given.

 

LAUNDRY

How do I start the service?

You can either go on our website, www.vtcampus.com or call us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE and we will be happy to set up your account.

How does the VTC laundry service work?

After sign-up you will receive a personalized, bar-coded laundry bag. Place any items that you want to be laundered in your bar coded laundry bag and bring it to one of the convenient on-campus locations once a week. Your items will be cleaned separately in their own washer and dryer, folded and returned to your drop-off location within 48 hours, according to your school’s service schedule. See schedule posted online for your school’s specific locations and times.

What can I put in my laundry bag?

You can put any items that you would like to have washed, dried and folded in your laundry bag.

Do you do Dry Cleaning?

No. We only offer laundry service.

Can I put both lights and darks in the same bag?

You can put all of your clothes together. We will take care of the rest.

How many bags of laundry can I have done on a weekly basis?

Place any items that you want to be laundered in your personalized bar coded laundry bag and bring it to one of the convenient on-campus locations once a week. Should you like to purchase an additional bag per week, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to place the order for you.

What happens if an item is missing or there is a problem with my order?

Please contact customer service as soon as possible at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE. VTC wants you to be 100% satisfied with our service and we will make every effort to resolve the issue to your complete satisfaction. **All claims will require a VTC claim form be completed and submitted in writing to customer service within 48 hours.

What happens if I miss the pick-up or delivery time?

Contact customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE and they will review the best options available for you at that time.

Can I cancel this service?

Will I be refunded for any unused laundry usages at the end of the school year?

No. When they are purchased, they needed to used within the school year.

 

MICROFRIDGE®

What is a MicroFridge®?

MicroFridge® is the original 3-in-1 refrigerator/freezer/microwave unit. The MicroFridge® allows students to eat what they want when they want. The separate door freezer stores frozen foods for extended periods, since it is a true zero-degree freezer. With one plug to the wall operation, the MicroFridge® uses about half the electricity of 2 separate appliances and reduces the risk of circuit overloads

How does the MicroFridge® service work?

Our units are available to rent for the school year or purchase for your own. Visit our website at www.vtcampus.com or call us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE and sign up for the option that works for you. Avoid having to move refrigerators and microwaves to and from school--the unit will be in your room when you arrive at school

Will I receive a refund if I cancel my order?

All cancellation requests must be received prior to delivery. No refund will be permitted after the unit has been delivered. Typically, units are delivered to campus the week before classes start.

What should I do if I ordered a MicroFridge® and it’s not in my dorm room when I get there?

Contact VTC customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE as soon as possible to guarantee resolution in timely manner

What if I am moving off campus and no longer need my unit? Will I receive a refund?

No. We will be happy to pick up the unit for you, but no refund will be available after delivery

Can I transfer my unit to a friend or roommate?

Yes. Contact VTC customer service either by e-mail at info@vtcampus.com or by calling us at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE to update all of the necessary contact and billing information. Once we have received and confirmed all necessary information, you will receive notice that you are no longer responsible for the unit.

What if I need my unit to be picked up early?

Contact VTC customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE to make arrangements for us to pick up your unit

What should I do if my MicroFridge® is not working properly?

Contact VTC customer service at 1-877-U-DO-LIFE as soon as possible to make arrangements with us to have your unit serviced. If we are unable to resolve the issue, we will replace the broken unit with another unit

What if I change rooms?

You are able to take your unit to the new room with you. However, it is your responsibility to ensure that VTC has all updated room and contact information at all times. If we are unable to locate your unit at the end of the school year, you will be charged for the unit.

If I didn’t pre-order a unit, can I still get one?

MicroFridge® units will be available online while supplies last.
